You can now take an ONLINE Jazz Improvisation Course with Carol Morgan. Call the Continuing Education Department at San Jac North (phone number listed below) for information about the next registration period!  This course is offered each Fall and Spring for the regular 16-week semesters. 

Over the past twenty years, Professor of Music Carol Morgan has developed a highly effective method for practicing improvisational skills. With the support of San Jacinto College she is now able to offer a distance learning course that showcases this method. Utilizing the resources of the Blackboard system for online course deployment, you can complete this course from anywhere in the world. You just log in weekly to get your assignments. And in order to submit your assignments, you simply need to obtain a microphone for your computer--it doesn't need to be 'fancy' and many stores sell such items for less than $20. Your computer may already have a mic built-in and you will not need to make a purchase.

The registration process for this course has been streamlined with the world jazz community in mind. You can register by making one phone call or enroll online. Just imagine--with one phone call you can register, enroll and pay for this class. No lines. No $$ gas-depleting car trip across town. No transcripts. No tests or pre-requisites. You know, the way this should work for someone who wants to learn!

All camps meet daily from 9am-1pm.
